There are several things you can do. First person: Pros: It's more like a newspaper, that children respond. It also gives them a link to the character. Cons: If the character is not aware of anything, not readers. the second person: Do not use. Plain and simple third-person limited: You may notice things about a character and that character, that is, but can not get to focus on others and leave behind. Omniscient third person: You can go anywhere side and focus on any character. recommendation? Third person limited offers readers the link to the character and the writer's ability to notice things and learn the nature of things. Best choice.
